It is not certain that Robert Hurt will NOT be there.  Rumors have it that he might show up.  We shall see.
These debates are VERY important and your attendance is IMPORTANT at ALL THREE!    Media will be there and body count is important.  Please make every effort to attend.  If it is absolutely impossible for you to attend all three, please make it to at least one or two.   Remember, these are sponsored by your fellow tea party patriots!

  • October Surprise was great but our November “Turkeys in Congress” Campaign is going to be even better!  The idea is that people can donate frozen turkeys (any size) in the name of their “biggest turkey”  in  Congress. Come to the meeting and be ready for some hilarious fun!  You will have a chance to tell why you think your nomination is the “biggest turkey.”  Everyone who votes consents to donate one frozen turkey in the nominee’s name. You can vote as many times as you wish.  The turkeys will be donated to Franklin  County area Food Banks in the name of our “Turkeys in Congress”  winners. We will get radio and news coverage and send out email blasts.  Other tea parties are welcomed to get involved or hold similar function on their own. Credit is given to Hampton Roads Tea Party for the original idea.  Collection of donated turkeys will be held on Saturday, November 21st  from 10AM–12PM. (Location to be announced at the mass meeting.)
  • Invite your friends and neighbors to the meeting.  Special guest, Feda Morton, will also be with us to share why she is throwing her hat into the Congressional race!  She is a school teacher, coach and mother of six – five sons, one daughter.  Don’t miss this meeting – Thursday, November 12th at 6:30 PM (sharp) at the Franklin Learning Center, 50 Claiborne Ave. Rocky Mount.

    Our next Paul Revere committee meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, September 22, the first day of Autumn.  We will meet at New Life Baptist Tabernacle, Lanahan Road off of 40 West before Ferrum if coming from rocky Mount.  The meeting time is 7 PM.  Bring your articles, thoughts, passion and friends.  Bring your questions and concerns.  Our committee’s mission is to sound the alarm about what is happening to our representative form of government, hence our country.  John will have more information and I think Erik will as well.  This is an open committee and non-partisan.  Encourage your friends relatives, neighbors and coworkers to join us.  We pray, believe and hope for the best and prepare for the worst.  Join us!

The march route is 1.1 miles (about 5 minutes). Alternate rally points are 14th & Constitution, and 14th & Independence. There will be guides along the way to direct you.
