The Franklin County Patriots is a peaceful, civic group with a non-partisan platform united to educate, inform and mobilize all freedom-loving patriots, giving them a voice agaisnt governmental tyranny. Patriots will work together to restore conservative values in an effort to promote life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness among the citizens of Franklin County and throughout our great nation.
Our Mission:
To provide like-minded citizens opportunities for united service through the formation of committees that target specific areas, such as, media, technological communication, lobbying, strategy for reaching African Americans and Hispanic communities, as well as, reaching unregistered voters. These committees will work together, pooling their resources and talents in developing strategies that will help us fulfill our vision.

The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence clearly define the role of the United States Government.

In limited power of the federal government based on the 10th Amendment to the Constitution.

Our founding fathers were clear that fiscal responsibility was a key element of successful government.

Government power should not be used to restrict oil drilling, coal and nuclear power and that alternative energy sources should be pursued in order to be independent from foreign countries.

In a strong national defense, in reforming the tax system, in regaining control of our national borders and in English as our official language.

Hello fellow Patriots!
The 2010 election is right around the corner, so it’s time to remove the incumbents! I am a volunteer for The Independence Caucus and like you I want changes to happen. The IC’s main goal is to put challengers in office and remove the bought out incumbents…and the challengers must pass a rigorous vetting and interview process. It’s the Triumph of Integrity over Money
Join the citizen’s movement to take back government from “Big Money” interest groups. In 2008, our very first endorsed candidate Jason Chaffetz (Utah-3rd) was outspent more than 6-to-1 by the 6-term incumbent and yet he STILL WON! This year we have scaled this success to the national level and have THREE CANDIDATES for the 2010! (Chuck Devore-CA senate, Joe Tegerdine-MS congress and Bernard Skoch-AR congress). All candidates must pass a rigorous 70 question vetting process and an interview with our members to be endorsed. We can defeat the special interest groups that fund the perpetual re-election of Congressional incumbents from both parties who have stopped listening to us!

WHEN IS THE NEXT TEA PARTY ? WE NEED MORE LOCAL ONES TO KEEP UP WITH ANTI-AMERICAN PRESIDENT. LOCAL PEOPLE ARE LOSING FAITH.
What about taxation on a local level right here in Franklin County. The board of supervisors are close to increasing the property and tools tax rates in Franklin County to cover losses from the state. What good does it do to keep state taxes the same only to hit us on the County level?
